Canon introduces a new addition to its Rebel series, the Canon EOS Rebel T1i ( or Canon EOS 500D) model. It comes just 14 months after the EOS Rebel XSi (450D) and it’s the fifth generation of Rebel. It will additionally be offered in a kit version with Canon’s EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens at an estimated retail price of $899.99.
