Water to Gas – is it Possible?

by admin on March 3, 2009

Absolutely, and of course water is the best widely available substitute solution to the ever increasing cost of fuel prices in today’s market. Though the regular form of water isn’t not a potential source of energy at the onset, when the right process is used it suddenly has the potential turn into a great hydrogen source – a very useful element that is capable of replacing fossil fuels to power automobiles and perhaps even generate energy like heat and electricity.

For the water to gas concept, various studies have been funded to do research on the potential of water for providing alternative sources of fuel and power, which has indeed proven to have to be extremely helpful and revolutionary as well. As a matter of fact this great technology to make a car run on water is nothing new and has been a patented concept for years and has evolved to the conception and invention of gas-saving devices that either make use of a little electric power from the battery to separate the water into a gas known as HHO also called Brown’s Gas or oxyhydrogen.

Discovery of Brown’s Gas or HHO has been know for some time but it was just recently that it became known as a potential energy source that could power an automobile – and the primary source of HHO is water. Brown’s Gas burns well and gives off a lot of energy equal to the potential of gasoline with an even better environmentally sound by-product – water. A regular engine burning conventional gas fuel, fuel consumption rate is comparative to only the volume of gas in the engine has to run on, however, much of it is burned and in the end incombustible fuel meaning less mileage and more energy becomes wasted as of heat and pollution. There are many who are not aware but Brown’s Gas or HHO is very powerful, since it comes with the power of hydrogen and the stability of water which makes it thrice as potent and more powerful than gasoline.

The US Government gave a challenge to US citizens to obtain and drive a hydrogen powered car as soon as possible and has put aside well over a billion dollars for the research to find out how it can be done. From the introduction of the challenge stemmed many processes that have been have been brought into public view – some effective, some nothing but a mere scheme to bait gullible people. However, regardless of the motives, good or bad there are, in reality a ton of methods for the breaking down ordinary water into oxygen and hydrogen.

It’s a comfort to know that a person doesn’t have to spend much to have a vehicle to use water to gas technology, as oddly it does not cost a billion dollars to develop. That becomes possible because existing engines in our automobiles now could work with these processes with very little or minimal modifications to the system.

But just how does the water to gas system function?

Initially, it starts with th belief that ordinary water is in reality, a battery that contains huge amounts of energy – the most important, being hydrogen energy. Water, in reality, is two parts hydrogen combined with one part oxygen, so it can only be speculated how it carries so much energy and has nothing to do to the actual amount of energy it takes in order to break down the molecule. Changing water to gas is definitely a program with extended longevity [that needs a lot of research] but who is to say it might yet have the key to the oil price increase quandary.
